JSC 121 Aircraft Repair Plant is a Russian aircraft repair company located in the Moscow region in the village of Stary Gorodok , near the Kubinka military airfield .

Company History
The company traces its history from 55 stationary aircraft workshops formed on November 11, 1940 in Kaunas at the 25th aircraft repair base . During this period, repair of I-16 , SB and R-5 aircraft was established in the workshops.
During the Great Patriotic War
With the beginning of World War II, the enterprise was relocated to Dvinsk (now Daugavpils ), then to Idritsa , Andreapol , Sacrament , Torzhok , Shuya . During the period of basing in Shuya from August 13, 1941 to February 10, 1942, workshops carried out repairs of the M-25 , M-105 engines and the I-16 and LaGG-3 aircraft.
On February 10, 1942, aviation workshops were relocated to Ivanovo where they repaired the Yak-1 and Yak-3 , Hurricane , P-39 Aerocobra , P-63 Kingcobra aircraft and Merlin aircraft engines.
May 10, 1944 55th CAM relocated to the village of Old Town .
In total, during the period of World War II, the company repaired more than 1,120 aircraft, of which: I-16 - 142, LaGG-3 - 78, Yak-3 - 246, La-5 - 134, IL-2 - 202, IL-10 - 186, Aerocobra and Kingcobra - 42; aircraft engines of various brands - 554.
Post-war time
On August 10, 1946, the 55th SAM was transformed into the 321st aviation repair base .
On June 27, 1952, the 321st Aviation Repair Base was transformed into the 121st Air Force Aviation Repair Plant . Since 1952, the development of repair of MiG-15 , MiG-17 , MiG-19 , Il-28 and VK-1 engines began.
In 1961, repairs began on the MiG-21 . In the 60s, the company repaired the aircraft engine AL-7F .
Since 1972, repairs began on the R27F2M-300 .
Since 1975, the repair of the P29-300 began.
In 1978, development of the MiG-23 repair began at 121 ARZs.
In the second half of the 80s, the plant mastered the repair of the RD-33 aircraft engine .
In 1991, the company began repairing the MiG-29 fighter. In the nineties, the plant mastered the repair of GTDE-117 , AI-9 , KSA-2 .
In 1995, repairs began on the AL-31F aircraft engine .
In 1999, development of the Su-27 and Su-25 repairs began at 121 ARZs.
In 2002, the plant began to modernize the Su-25 aircraft in the version of the Su-25SM.
In 2011, the plant began to master the repair of the D-18T engine. Work on the development of repair and repair of the D-18T engine was discontinued in 2014 due to the import substitution program and the severance of business ties with industrial enterprises of Ukraine.
In 2014, repairs and modernization of the Su-27, MiG-29 aircraft were resumed.
Promising areas of the enterprise:

- mastering the repair of an aircraft of the Su-27 type and its PKI;
- mastering the repair of an aircraft of the Su-25UB type with modernization as a variant of the Su-25UBSM;
