According to the US Census Bureau, the town area is 61.8 km², of which 57.4 km² is land, and 4.5 km² is water (7.20%).
Demographics
According to the 2000 census [1], there were 600 people, 240 households, and 177 families. The population density is 10.5 people / km². There are 374 buildings with an average density of 6.5 buildings per square kilometer in the town territory. Racial composition: 99.00% White , 0.17% Native American , 0.17% Asian, and 0.67% are two or more other races.
Out of 240 households, 30.0% raised children under 18 years old, married couples lived in 66.3%, single women lived in 2.9%, and non-family people lived in 26.3% of households. 23.8% of households consisted of one person, while 10.4% of them were single elderly people over 65 years of age.
