Demographics
According to the 2000 census [1], there were 284 people, 102 households, and 87 families. The population density is 3.0 people / km². On the territory of the town there are 107 buildings with an average density of 1.1 buildings per square kilometer. Racial composition: 96.83% White , 0.35% Native American , 1.76% Asian , 0.35% from other US races, and 0.70% from two or more other races. Spaniards or Hispanics of any race made up 0.35% of the township population.
Of the 102 households, 38.2% raised children under the age of 18, married couples lived in 76.5%, single women lived in 4.9%, and non-family people lived in 14.7% of households. 12.7% of households consisted of one person, while 5.9% of those were single elderly people over 65. The average household size is 2.78 and families are 3.02 people.
28.2% of the population is under 18 years old, 6.0% are between the ages of 18 and 24, 23.9% are between 25 and 44, 27.8% are between 45 and 64, and 14.1% are over 65. The average age is 40 years. For every 100 females there are 100.0 males. For every 100 females over 18, there are 112.5 males.
