According to the U.S. Census Bureau, the town area is 91.9 km², of which 86.2 km² is land, and 5.8 km² is water (6.28%).
Demographics
According to the 2000 census [1], there were 275 people, 116 households, and 83 families. The population density is 3.2 people / km². On the territory of the town there are 158 buildings with an average density of 1.8 buildings per square kilometer. Racial composition: 98.55% White , 1.09% Native American, and 0.36% are two or more other races.
Out of 116 households, children under 18 years old were brought up in 25.0%, married couples lived in 66.4%, single women lived in 2.6%, and non-family people lived in 27.6% of households. 22.4% of households consisted of one person, while 12.1% of them were single elderly people over 65. The average household size is 2.37 and families are 2.81.
21.1% of the population is under 18 years old, 6.5% are between the ages of 18 and 24, 26.2% are between 25 and 44, 28.4% are between 45 and 64, and 17.8% are over 65. The average age is 42 years. For every 100 females there are 111.5 males. For every 100 females over 18 there are 106.7 males.
