According to the 2000 census [1], there were 285 people, 99 households, and 72 families. The population density is 3.2 people / km². There are 118 buildings on the territory of the town with an average density of 1.3 buildings per square kilometer. Racial composition: 92.28% White , 5.96% Native American, and 1.75% are two or more other races. Spaniards or Hispanics of any race made up 0.35% of the township population.
Of the 99 households, 36.4% raised children under the age of 18, married couples lived in 61.6%, single women lived in 8.1%, and non-family people lived in 26.3% of households. 20.2% of households consisted of one person, while 10.1% of them were single elderly people over 65. The average household size is 2.70 and the family is 3.05 people.
29.5% of the population is under 18 years old, 6.0% are between the ages of 18 and 24, 27.7% are between 25 and 44, 21.4% are between 45 and 64, and 15.4% are over 65. The average age is 35 years. For every 100 females there are 115.9 males. For every 100 females over 18 there are 101.0 males.
