Tomas Motyka was born in 1981 in Wroclaw . In 2003 he became the bronze medalist of the European Fencing Championship, in 2005 - the champion in the individual and team championships. At the Olympic Games in 2008, Tomasz Motyka as part of the Polish national team won (together with Robert Andrzejuk , Adam Vercech and Radoslav Zavrotnyak ) a silver medal, for which he was awarded the Merit of Gold Cross by the decree of the President of Poland. In 2009, he became the bronze medalist of the World Cup.
