Kozlai - a river in Russia , flows through the territory of the Vuktylsky district in the Komi Republic . The mouth of the river is 1095 km along the left bank of the Pechora River. The length of the river is 24 km, the catchment area is 1110 km².

The river is formed by the confluence of the rivers Lunvozh and Voivozh in the tract Verkh. Kozla, 22 km north of the city of Vuktyl . The river flows to the southeast, the entire course passes along the uninhabited, swampy tundra. Tributaries - Tykolayol , Kuchposayol, Zhezhyol (left); Ochelle (right). The flow velocity is about 0.7 m / s, the width of the river is 20-25 meters [2] .
Hydronym etymology
I goat in the Komi language - “spruce river”, “river flowing along the spruce.” From goats “spruce”, the outdated suffix of the place la and yu “river” [3] .
