The river is formed by the confluence of the rivers Lunvozh and Voivozh in the tract Verkh. Kozla, 22 km north of the city of Vuktyl . The river flows to the southeast, the entire course passes along the uninhabited, swampy tundra. Tributaries - Tykolayol , Kuchposayol, Zhezhyol (left); Ochelle (right). The flow velocity is about 0.7 m / s, the width of the river is 20-25 meters [2] .

Hydronym etymology
