Kharyaga [2] (variant - Khar-Yaga ) is a river in Russia , the left tributary of the Pechora . It flows through the north of the Republic of Komi , near the border with the Nenets Autonomous District . The source is located on the northern tip of the Tobysh Upland , which is part of the Timan Ridge system. It flows through unpopulated forest-tundra terrain in the general northeast direction. Lower reaches are swampy. The estuary is located 66 km along the left bank of the Pechora channel Borschivy Shar , also called Kharyagsky Shar in this place. At the mouth is the village Harjaga . The length of the river is 80 km [3] . There are no large tributaries.
