ECOO "Nerush" was founded in 1997 . Previously called - Youth Ecological Club of Baranavichy (1997), Center for Environmental and Social Research "Nerush Center" (1998-2001). Registered by the Main Department of Justice of the Brest Regional Executive Committee.

Included in the Clean Baltic Coalition (since May 2018).

He is a signatory to the Belarus National Platform for the Eastern Partnership Civil Society Forum.

The association implements the following programs and projects:

- Publication of the environmental newsletter Nerush . Subject - issues of ecology, nature conservation, environmental education. In Russian and Belarusian. It has been published since March 1996. ^[one]

- Publication of the historical newsletter Altanka . It has been released since January 1999. ^[2]

- Ecological Library . The foundation was laid in the framework of the Green School project (1999, funding MATRA-KAP). It has been working since 1999. Currently, there are more than 500 copies of books on environmental, environmental, social and humanitarian topics.

- Video Library Ecological Films. The foundation was laid in the framework of the TACIS program "Raising Public Awareness of Environmental Issues" in 1998-1999.

- The program to promote the development of ecotourism in the Baranavichy district (since 1998) includes the study of the natural, cultural and historical heritage of the Baranavichy region: conducting excursions, expeditions, and issuing guides.

- From October 24, 2008 to April 20, 2009, the project “ Ecological tourism in the Baranavichy district: development of a concept for the development of ecological tourism in the Baranavichy district of the Brest region through intersectoral development ” was implemented (financing of the representative office of ISAR, Inc. in Minsk). Ecotourism certification of village councils of Baranavichy district was carried out.

- The project “ Ancient parks of the Baranavichy district. Soul of nature and people ”(since 2000). Ancient (memorial) parks of the Baranavichy district in the village were studied. Zheleznitsa, Bol. Swarf, Ashen, who do not have a protective status. The project was supported in 2003 by the representative office of ISAR, Inc. ^[3]

- The “ Clean Shchara ” project to create a public monitoring network for the Shchara river basin and conduct comprehensive studies of the state of the river basin. Since 2000. Once funded in 2000 by ISAR, Inc. Within the framework of the project, with the participation of school groups, monitoring was carried out at five points of the Shchara river valley in Baranovisk and Lyakhovichi districts, a methodical seminar for teachers, a methodological manual “Monitoring of floodplain biogeocenoses of small rivers” (authors - V. N. Zuev, A. G. Ryndevich , S.K. Ryndevich). Currently ongoing as a volunteer project. In 2006, the manual “Research and Protection of Water Objects” ^[4] , a schematic map of water bodies of the Baranavichy district, was prepared.

- The “ Clean Forest ” project to identify and eliminate wild landfills, to collect recyclables and to popularize the collection of recyclables. In 2002. Pupils of the city Ecocenter of students actively worked in the project.

- EcoSalon - holding monthly meetings of the public environmental club on various environmental topics (eg, “Aarhus Convention”, “GMO”).

- Competition-action " Help the birds !" On the organization of winter feeding of birds. Held in January-February.

- The action “ Clean hatchy Belarus ” within the framework of the global campaign “Clean the Earth”. Held every third weekend of September. The action in Belarus was initiated through a partner organization - Our Earth Foundation (Warsaw, Poland) ^[5]

- The MyshankaTeam project in the framework of the Belarusian-Dutch program “Ecology and Health”, 2006. The aim of the project is to popularize the ideas of sustainable development for rural areas of the Baranavichy district, to identify indicators of sustainable development for the region, to involve the population in environmental and environmental programs. An environmental screening of the Myshanka river basin was carried out, actions were taken to protect the river and its tributaries, an environmental information center was run, a youth environmental camp YouthGreenCamp was held, and a photo exhibition My native land was prepared (currently exhibited at BarSU).

- February 16, 2009, the implementation of the project “ Creation of an information center for the public on the development of agroecotourism and the solution of regional environmental and economic problems in the Baranavichy district ” began, carried out on July 20, 2009. Financial support for this project was provided by the Eurasia Foundation with funds provided by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) as part of the small grants program of the non-profit corporation ISAR, Inc. (USA) in the Republic of Belarus. The project was aimed at ensuring sustainable development of rural territories of the Baranavichy district of the Brest region through promoting the development of agroecotourism. ^[6]

- On April 3-4, 2009, the First International Scientific and Practical Conference " Eco-and Agrotourism: Prospects for Development in Local Territories " was held. The organizers together with ECO “Nerush” were the Educational Institution “Baranovichi State University”, Baranavichy City Inspectorate of Natural Resources and Environmental Protection, Department of Physical Culture, Sports and Tourism of the Baranovichi City Executive Committee, Department of Physical Culture, Sports and Tourism of the Baranovichi District Executive committee. The conference was attended by over 120 people. ^[7]

- July 18, 2009, the First Open Regional Festival of Agroecotourism " Kuzevichi-2009 " was held. Venue: Peasant (farm) farm "Pansky Ponds", the village of Kuzevichi, Baranavichy district. Within the framework of the Festival, a presentation of tourist opportunities in the Baranavichy region, master classes of traditional crafts, an exhibition of products from natural materials, a presentation of the knight's club, a concert program and much more were held.

In July 2010, the Second Kuzevichi 2010 Festival was held. ^{[8] [9] [10]}

- From September 1, 2009 to February 28, 2011, the project " Sustainable consumption for improving the quality of life " ^[11] was implemented. Project objectives: to increase the awareness of Belarusian citizens in issues of sustainable production and consumption and the consequences of their consumer choice; increase the number of environmentally friendly products and products on the market, as well as develop good labels that will allow consumers to easily recognize these products; to increase the interest of retailers and manufacturers in trade in sustainable consumption products; implement project results in local partner organizations. The partners in this project (MATRA funding) are Milieukontakt International ^[12] , the Ecoproject Partnership MPO ^[13] , the Ecosphere MPO, the Gomel Youth Association ASDEMO ^[14] ; NGO "League of Doctors" (Mogilev), Brest Regional Environmental Organization "Green Land", ECOO "Nerush", Mogilev City Environmental Education Organization "ENDO" ^[15] and NGO "Belarusian Society for Consumer Protection" ^[16] . ^[17]

- May-December 2010 - the project " Youth and Ecotourism: Belarusian-Polish Interaction " funded by the Small Embassy Program of the US Embassy. During the project, classes of the Eco-Guides School were held (trainers V.Zuev, S. Ryndevich, D. Lundyshev, A. Romaniv, consultant V.V. Rudsky), guidebooks “On the Shores of Servechi” were prepared and published (in Russian and English, 700 copies) and “Stones and lakes of the Belarusian-Lithuanian borderland. Shchuchinsky district ”(in Polish, 600 copies) ^[18]

- In June-December 2010, the project “ Cooperation for Cross-Border Exchange in the Field of Natural Tourism between Latvia, Poland and Belarus ” was implemented together with the Society for Nature and Man (Lublin, Poland) ^[19] and the Latvian Fund for Nature Protection (Riga, Latvia) ^[20] . The project involved the study of the development of eco-tourism and agritourism in Latvia and Poland, as well as the organization of the photo exhibition “Nature of Poland, Latvia and Belarus”.

- In 2016-2018, the project "Prevention of pollution of natural reservoirs through public education and specialists" ^[21] is being implemented.

- In February-April 2011, together with Baranavichy State University ^[22], a children's drawing contest "Many countries - one world" was held.

- From June 2011 to February 2012, the project “Do business - live boldly. Through public activity - to the quality and safety of the environment” was implemented with the support of the Small Embassy Program of the US Embassy. On July 18, 2011, within the framework of the project, the first campaign was held in the Gai tract on the outskirts of Baranavichy ^[23]

- On November 5, 2012, the First International Scientific and Practical Conference “Baranovichi Local History Readings” was held, dedicated to the 15th anniversary of the association.

- Within the framework of the SECTOR program of the Regional Environmental Center, an interactive complex " Green Steps " was created ^[24]

- On October 25, 2015 ECO Nerusha together with the Baranavichy regional executive committee organized the stop of the Express UN in Baranavichy. The purpose of the UN-70 Express train is not only to mark the 70th anniversary of the organization itself, but also to promote the new sustainable development goals adopted at the recent session of the United Nations General Assembly. On the way from Grodno to Brest, the participants of the initiative made a stop in our city, from where they went to the museum-estate of the world famous poet Adam Mickiewicz in the village of Zaosye. During a visit to the museum-estate, a presentation of the tourist destination “The Green Ring of Baranavichy” was also held. It is worth noting that this project was initiated several years ago by the Baranavichy environmental and local history public association Nerush. The project was implemented as part of the UN Development Program “Local Entrepreneurship and Environmental Development”. ^[25]

- Annually, the association organizes the action " Earth Hour " ^[26] , " Zrobіm! (Let's Do It!) " ^{[27] [28]}

- In September 2016, the association for the first time in the city of Baranavichy organized and held (jointly with the Baranavichy City Executive Committee, Baranavichy State University) " European Mobility Week " ^{[29] [30]}

- In 2017, the association participates in the implementation of the CCB project “ From River Monitoring to Basin Management ”. On January 18, 2017, a seminar on transboundary water management in the eastern Baltic basin was held at the Johannes Rau International Education Center. Most of the reports were devoted to the Neman river basin, which flows into the Baltic Sea. ^{[31] [32]}

Since November 2011 ECOO "Nerush" is a member of the Green Network Partnership ^[33] Participates in the implementation of the Green Watch program
