Gennady Nikolayevich Bachinsky ( September 1, 1971 , Yarovoye , Altai Krai - January 12, 2008 , Kalyazinsky District , Tver Region ) - Russian radio and television presenter, main producer of the broadcasting directorate of VGTRK , general producer of MAXIMUM radio. Biography
Born September 1, 1971 in Yarovoye, Altai Territory . He was a pioneer and Komsomol member and, by his own admission, “believed in everything that was told to us” [1]
He graduated from St. Petersburg State Electrotechnical University , Department of Automation and Computer Engineering.
Together with Eduard “Redt” Starkov , in 1990, as the lead guitarist, he organized the group “Baltic Deputy”, later known as “ Chimera ”. As a member of the collective, he recorded the albums Dreams of the Stoker, Commissar of the Smoke Gendarmerie, Semi-Petrograd Acoustics, the Concert of Ships , and others. He also performed the functions of the manager of the Chimera; [2] participated in the concerts of the group.
From June 1992 to 1994 he worked at the Polis radio station. From 1995 to 2001, together with Sergei Stillavin, he worked for Modern Radio , from that moment Bachinsky and Stillavin worked together at all radio stations until the death of Bachinsky.
From September 29, 2001 to January 27, 2002 he worked at Russian Radio .
He was the vocalist of the group "Mechanical pianos", founded in 2001.
From February 18, 2002 to June 29, 2007 he conducted the “Morning Show” on the radio “Maximum” in the genre of “verbal chaos” [3] .

At the end of April 2007 he received the Radio Mania 2007 prize in the nomination for “The Best Morning Show”.
From September 2007 to January 2008 he led the morning broadcast on Mayak radio .

In the last months of his life, he began to pay much attention to Orthodoxy [1] [5] , donated money to Klobukov Monastery , where he was married [6] , a week before the death on Mayak’s air, a Christmas show was broadcast with Bachinsky. As noted in the material dedicated to him in the journal Thomas : “over the past year, a lot of changes have occurred in his life, and, as he himself repeated more than once, they were largely due to the fact that he finally found his way to God” . January 13, 2008 he was supposed to answer questions from readers of the magazine "Thomas" [7] .
Doom
He died in a car accident on the 37th year of life on January 12, 2008 in the Tver region at the 69th kilometer of the P104 Kalyazin - Sergiev Posad road between the villages of Nagorskoye and Voskresenskoye, 35 kilometers from the border with the Moscow region. Gennady Bachinsky in his Volkswagen Golf car, having decided to overtake the truck, began to overtake in the oncoming lane forbidden by the rules [8] , as a result of which he collided with a Volkswagen Transporter minibus, in which there were three people who were seriously injured as a result of the collision. On January 22, Julia Merkulova, one of the victims, died of a complication [9] .
Gennady Bachinsky died of injuries on the spot. He left a wife and two children. He was buried in the church of Peter and Paul Klobukov monastery of the city of Kashin . [10] On January 15, 2008, he was buried at the Troekurovsky cemetery in Moscow.
On February 1, 2008, the forensic center of the Tver region reported the results of an examination of the Bachinsky car [11] [12] : “According to preliminary data, it can be assumed that Gennady Bachinsky’s exit into the oncoming lane was provoked by some external influence. Perhaps Bachinsky was not guilty of an accident. ” According to one version, the accident was preceded by a light collision with a truck after overtaking. [11] The main version: “Bachinsky overtook a vehicle (truck) ahead of him in violation of traffic rules (overtaking is prohibited), in a rather dangerous place, easy descent and a sharp rise, did not have enough engine power to complete the maneuver. Examination showed that the cause was the explosion of the front left wheel, the car began to chat and it flew into the forehead of the minibus. Fractions of seconds, both drivers did not have time to do anything. Gennady breathed after an accident for another 2 minutes. "
