Gridinskaya (Borok) is a rural settlement in the Vinogradovsky district of the Arkhangelsk region of Russia . The village of Gridinskaya is part of the Boretsky rural settlement with a center in Selmenga. Although, initially, it was planned to create a Boretsky rural settlement with a center in Gridinskaya consisting of villages: Alekseevskaya , Gorodok , Gorka , Gridinskaya , Zadorikha , Zauitovskaya , Ignatievskaya , Leushinskaya , Mikhailovskaya , Ostrovetskaya , Pustynskaya , Skobely , Faluyki .

Geography
Borok is located in the middle reaches of the Northern Dvina on the right bank, at the mouth of the River Tёda . From the stopping point Borok to Arkhangelsk along the river - 380.0 km , to Bereznik - 74 kilometers. Below Bork, along the course of the Northern Dvina, are the village of Topsa and the village of Selmenga , and on the opposite bank is the village of Seltso .
The highway " Ust-Vaenga - Osinovo - Shilenga - Korbala - Rostovskoye - Konetsgorye - Rochegda - Kurgomen - Topsa - Sergeevskaya - Selmenga - Gorodok - Mikhailovskaya - Gridinskaya - Zadorikha - Skobely - Faluyki " passes through Gridinskaya .
History
Borok is an ancient village. It is first mentioned as one of the settlements in the Statute of Prince Svyatoslav in 1137. " [2] . Borok (Boretskaya volost) was part of the possessions of the Novgorod posadnik, the second husband of the famous Martha Boretskaya , Isaak Andreevich Boretsky . Borok is known as the Novgorod possession of Boretskaya or Isakovskaya boyarschina [3] . Then Borok was part of the Podvinsky camp and the Podvinsky quarter (cheti) - the Podvinsky fourth board in the Vazhsky district ( Vazhsky district , district ) of the Arkhangelsk province .
