Public Joint Stock Company TNS Energo Nizhny Novgorod (until 30 June 2015 - OAO Nizhny Novgorod Retail Company) is a guaranteeing electricity supplier in the Nizhny Novgorod Region. The company separated from OAO Nizhnovenergo during its reorganization, and is the successor of Nizhnovenergo in terms of energy supply to the population. Registered in Nizhny Novgorod on April 1, 2005.

The company serves under contracts for more than 34.9 thousand legal entities, of which more than 4.4 thousand contracts were concluded with consumers financed from budgets of various levels, and more than 1.22 million personal accounts of individuals.

Public Complaints
In 2012, when entering calculations for all-house needs for the company, dozens of complaints were received by the Federal Service for Supervision of Consumer Rights Protection and the Federal Bureau of Supervision [1] . At the same time, the calculations of Rospotrebnadzor did not agree with the amounts indicated in the NSC receipts [1] . The Prosecutor’s Office of the Leninsky district of Nizhny Novgorod has begun a review of the validity of placing additional amounts in relation to payments made in previous periods. [2] .
