Natalya Ilyinichna Dubova (née Bach ; born March 31, 1948 , Moscow , USSR ) is a Russian figure skater, choreographer and figure skating coach in ice dancing .

Career
Natalya Dubova began her sports career in singles, performed in pairs. Later she went to ice dancing, where, together with Vladimir Pavlikhin, she performed at all-Union and international competitions (under the name Natalya Bakh). At the winter Universiade-1966, skaters took 4th place. The most significant achievement in the domestic competitions for the dance duet was the bronze of the 1965 USSR Championship .
Coaching
After finishing her career as a figure skater, in 1969 N. Dubova began coaching at the rink of the Sokolniki Sports Palace in the Spartak sports complex. [1] In September 1992, she left with her husband in the USA and began working in Lake Placid , where, on the basis of her group, an international school was opened under the constant supervision of the American Olympic Committee. [2] Currently works in Stamford .
Pupils
In the group at Dubovoi, at different times, they trained: Tatyana Navka / Samvel Gezalyan , Galit Haight / Sergey Sakhnovsky , She-Lynn Bourne / Victor Kraatz , Peter Chernyshev and Naomi Lang , Natalie Bak / Trent Nelson-Bond , Shivon Hikin-Kennedy / Alexander Shakalov .
During her coaching career, she prepared the winners of the Olympic Games, champions and winners of the World and European Championships:
- Marina Klimova and Sergey Ponomarenko
With a pair of Klimova / Ponomarenko, Natalia Ilyinichna worked for 12 years. Under her leadership, they won the European Championships three times and twice the world, and also became winners of the Olympic Games in 1984 and 1988. However, due to creative differences four months before the 1992 Olympics, Tatyana Tarasova left her, with whom they became Olympic champions. [3]
- Maya Usova and Alexander Zhulin
This pair of Dubov trained from 1980 until the end of their amateur career in 1994 after silver at the Olympic Games. Over the years, the couple invariably became winners of the European and World Championships, but they managed to become champions only in 1993.
- Oksana Grischuk and Evgeny Platov
In 1989, Oksana, who was left without a partner (ended her career due to an injury), was invited to the group of Natalya Dubova, who put her in a pair with Evgeny Platov. Already in December 1989, after only 3 months of joint training, they became bronze medalists of the USSR championship, and in 1991 they won the national championship. In the 1991/1992 season they won bronze medals of the European and World Championships, and at the Olympic Games in 1992 they took 4th place, after which they left Dubova to Natalya Linichuk .
- She-Lynn Bourne and Victor Kraatz
Under the leadership of Dubova, the Canadian couple became the bronze medalists of the World Cup 4 times and won the championship of four continents. In the spring of 2000, the coach and skaters broke off cooperation.
- Marina Anisina and Gwendal Peiser
With this pair, N. I. Dubova worked as a consultant in the 2001/2002 season [4] when they won the Olympic Games.
Current Activities
He is currently training at Stamford a pair of Alice Agafonova / Alper Uchar , acting in the international arena for Turkey [5] .

Personal life
Natalia Dubova is married to a Soviet swimmer , winner of the 1968 Olympic Games , Semyon Viktorovich Belits-Geyman . [6] In September 1992, she began working with her husband in Lake Placid , USA, under a contract with the New York State Olympic Committee. In September 1999 she moved to Stamford (Connecticut) , where she currently lives and works.
