Kushavera - a river in Russia , flows in the Khvoyninsky district of the Novgorod region . The river flows from Lake Bolshoy Kuzino and flows first to the east, then to the northeast. The mouth of the river is 79 km on the right bank of the river Pes . The length of the river is 34 km, the catchment area is 846 km² [2] .

On the river are the villages of Shilovo, Borovsky rural settlement . Below the villages of Styopanovo and Belkovo, the Dvorishchensky rural settlement . Beyond these two villages is the village of Kushavera, about 1.5 km from the river.
In the middle reaches of the Kushavera, a concentration of archaeological sites of early iron , the culture of the Pskov-Vologda long mounds , the culture of hills , finds of Old Russian time, uncharacteristic for the northern part of the Mologo-Mstinsky watershed, was noted [3] .
