The source of the river near the village of Slobodskie Dubrovka 15 km south-west of the city of Krasnoslobodsk . The river in the upper reaches flows to the southwest, then sharply turns to the north, and in the lower reaches to the northwest. On the river are the villages of Mordovia Parks and Krasnopolie. It falls into Urey in the village of Selishchi .
