Story
Brothers Roy and Lee Egan are planning a robbery at a Palm Springs jewelry store. To do this, they attract two more: the prudent Jorge Montana and the desperate Skip Kovic.
But, in planning the operation and security measures, they did not take into account that greed, backed by cold-blooded cruelty, could become their main enemy in this matter.
The more experienced and older brothers Egan, along with Jorge Montana, took on the main task, and the young and indefatigably energetic Skip Kovic had to ensure their transportation in his car. The robbery is successful and in the hands of criminals are jewelry worth several million dollars. It remains only to divide production between the participants in the operation. Skip Kovic little by little begins to guess that his share will be the smallest. He has a desire to seize all the booty. After waiting for the right moment, he shoots Lee Egan and Jorge Montana. However, Roy Egan manages to escape. Skip takes prey and hides from the scene of the crime.
Having recovered from shock and slight injury, Roy Egan is trying to get on the trail of Skip hiding in the unknown. Skip, meanwhile, is trying to figure out Roy's whereabouts. Between Roy and Skip, a “cat and mouse game” begins during which they, with the help of their accomplices, hunt one after another. Finally, a denouement takes place, during which one of them kills the other. Money goes to the one who turns out to be a little less cruel.
