Pegusa - a river in Russia , flows in the Soligalichsky district of the Kostroma region . The mouth of the river is located 18 km on the right bank of the Selma River. The length of the river is 10 km.

Peguza takes its source in the forests west of the village of Peguza near the border with the Vologda Oblast , 18 km northwest of Soligalich . It flows east, on the banks of the river is the village of Pegusa. It flows into Selma above the village of Kononovo, 10 km northwest of Soligalich. There are no large tributaries.

According to the state water register of Russia, it belongs to the Upper Volga Basin District , the Kostroma water sector from the source to the water gauge near the village of Isady , the river sub-basin is the Volga below the Rybinsk Reservoir until the Oka River flows into it. The river basin - (Upper) Volga to the Kuibyshev reservoir (without the Oka basin) [2] .
