The source of the river in the forests is 6 km northwest of the village of Shaigino . Not far from the source of the Pinal are the upper reaches of the Malaya Kaksha River , the watershed of the Vyatka and Vetluga basins passes here. It flows to the northeast, the entire course of the river passes through an uninhabited swampy forest. It flows into Tansy , 8 km west of the village of Tansy .
