The source of the river at the village of Verkhnee Kurino is 38 km northwest of Kotelnich . The general direction of the current is east, the river flows in the middle reaches of the large village of Makarye , the center of the Makaryevsky rural settlement . It flows into Moloma with two arms, the southern arm flows into the village of Kurino , and the northern one - a kilometer upstream.
