Story
Young Berit has many problems, she is depressed and obsessed with thoughts of suicide. Since she was no longer able to live with her mother, she spent many years studying. Finally, she gets a job in industrial production, provided that she again has to live with her mother, with whom Berit has a strained relationship. Once she meets the port loader Gesta and hopes that he will give her the support she needs.
