Geography
The mouth of the river is 84 km along the left bank of the Viled river. The length of the river is 68 km, the catchment area is 673 km². The largest inflow of Pyela is Anavaz. At the mouth of the river is a fairly large village of Pavlovsk.

According to the Russian State Water Register, it belongs to the Dvinsko-Pechora Basin District , the water sector of the river is Vychegda from the city of Syktyvkar to the mouth, and the river sub-basin is Vychegda . The river basin is the Northern Dvina [2] .
