Content
History
The avenue is located on the territory of the former village of Novogireevo , where it was called Fourth Avenue (one of the eleven avenues of the village). In 1960, the village Novogireevo became part of Moscow, and on November 14, 1972 the avenue received its modern name, which until then had the neighboring avenue, which was included in the composition of Zeleny Prospekt [1] [2] .
Location
Svobodny Avenue runs south from the Enthusiasts highway , Sayanskaya Street adjoins it from the east, after which the avenue deviates to the southwest, then Metallurgov Street (from the west) and Napolny proezd (from the east) adjoin the avenue, then - 5th Avenue (from the west) and Saperny proezd (from the east), then crosses Federal , Zeleny and Soyuzny prospekt and Aleksey Dikogo street , deviates to the southeast, crosses Fryazevskaya street , crosses the Gorky direction of the Moscow railway along the Novogireevsky overpass and reaches to Dawn Alley and Ketscherskaya Street , followed by Veshnyakovskaya Street . Between the Enthusiasts highway, Svobodny Prospekt and Metallurgov Street, Terletsky Forest Park is located. Numbering starts from the Enthusiasts highway.
