Biography

Mikhail Fedyaev was born on May 16, 1962 in Prokopyevsk, Kemerovo Region.

In 1979 he graduated from Krapivinsky high school.

In 1980 he entered the Kuzbass Polytechnic Institute [1] in the specialty "Automobiles and motor vehicles." In 1985 he graduated from the university with the qualification of a mechanical engineer. After graduation, he first worked as a mechanic, gradually reached the post of deputy chief of a motorcade [3] .

In 1989, he was elected chairman of the production and construction cooperative created on the basis of GATP-1. Since 1990, he held senior positions at various enterprises in the Kemerovo region: 1990 - Deputy Head of ODS Zapsibgeologiya, 1991 - General Director of the diversified production association Ecro, 1992 - General Director of Sibekom JV, 1996 - General Director of LLC "Partner-Grundfos".

In the 1990s, working as the head of the Kemerovo representative office of MirInvest , created with the participation of Vadim Varshavsky , he met his future partner Vladimir Gridin [1] .

In 1999, Mikhail Fedyaev and Vladimir Gridin won the corporate war with the MIKOM group of Mikhail Zhivilo over the Chernigovets coal mine. According to Forbes magazine, businessmen were supported by the governor of the Kemerovo region Aman Tuleyev [1]

In 2004, partners register the holding company Siberian Business Union (SDS) [1] .

In December 2007, after the election of Gridin to the State Duma of the Russian Federation, he became president of the SDS [1] .

In 2007, Mikhail Fedyaev was included in the rating of Expert magazine among 10 people with the highest level of political influence in their regions [3] .

The eldest son, Fedyaev, Pavel Mikhailovich (born in 1982), was elected to the State Duma in 2011 on the “governor list” of Aman Tuleyev [4] from the United Russia party. Vladimir Gridin was also elected as a deputy on the same list. The youngest son is Fedyaev, Yuri Mikhailovich (born in 1984).
