When submitting documents (February 1686) for introducing the genus into the Velvet Book , the Skarzhinsky genealogy was provided and Colonel of the Reytar system Pyotr Grigoryevich Skarzhinsky presented (April 1686) to the Ambassadorial Order for translation into Russian two “ certified sheets ” of Polish ambassadors and nobles about nobility Skarzhinsky. In the same year, Peter Skarzhinsky filed a petition in which he asked to send translations from the “ sheets ” to the House of Pedigrees and put them in the genealogy of the Skarzhinsky, which was done (August 31, 1686) [1] .
Genesis and history
Ancestors of this kind owned a real estate in the Trotsky Voivodeship (1628) and were awarded various ranks by the Polish kings for services. Descended from this family, Anthony-Alexander Skarzhinsky entered the Russian service (1733) and, when he converted to the Orthodox faith, was called Mikhail [2] .
Skarzinsky, settled in the Ravske Voivodeship . Of these, Alexander, the Hunter of Brzezinski, owned the estates of Studzenice and Laziska (since 1755). Yuri Skarzhinsky, sub-settlement of Sohachevsky, was granted (1790) a knight of the Order of St. Stanislav .
Coat of arms description
In the red box, the unicorn is white, to the right. At the top of the helmet is a white unicorn emerging to the right. The Coat of Arms of Bonycha 4 (used by: Skarzynski) is included in Part 1 of the Stamp of the noble family of the Polish Kingdom, p. 86.
In the azure field, a silver unicorn galloping to the right with scarlet eyes, tongue, horn and hooves. The shield is crowned with a noble crowned helmet. Crest : a rising unicorn with scarlet eyes, tongue, horn and hooves. Bait : azure with silver. The Skarzhinsky coat of arms is included in Part 12 of the General Tombstone of the noble families of the All-Russian Empire, p. 68.

- Skorzhinsky Pyotr Grigorievich - Moscow nobleman (1640), stolnik (1686) [3] .
- Skarzhinsky Peter - Major General, Knight of the Orders of St. Vladimir of the 2nd degree and St. George of the 4th degree.
- Skarzhinsky Nikolai Petrovich - lieutenant of the Izmailovsky regiment , mortally wounded during Kulm (August 17, 1813), his name is listed on the wall of the Cathedral of Christ the Savior in Moscow. [2]
