Biography
Born in the village of Kumari, Vradiyevsky district, Nikolaev (then Odessa) region on April 2, 1924 . Ukrainian .
Before the war, she lived in the Lviv region, studied in high school, moved to the tenth grade. Her father worked as the chairman of the district executive committee. Soon the war began, father went to the front, and Dasha and her mother moved to Pervomaisky district of the Nikolaev region, where her grandmother lived.
She was a connected underground organization with partisan detachments; she led an underground group in the village. New alexandrovka . Underground workers successfully carried out sabotage on the railway, liberated about 200 Soviet prisoners of war from the camp, collected weapons, ammunition, distributed leaflets. On March 1, 1943 , while performing a combat mission, she was captured and thrown by the Nazis into a women's concentration camp .
On the eve of the liberation of the city, after torture, Dyachenko was shot on the day of her 20th anniversary, on April 2, 1944 , in the territory of Tiraspol prison. Then, on April 2-4, 1944, the invaders shot more than 2 thousand prisoners from a concentration camp.
D. Dyachenko was buried in the city of Tiraspol.
Rewards
- By a decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR of July 1, 1958, Dyachenko Darya Grigoryevna was posthumously awarded the title Hero of the Soviet Union .
- She was awarded the Order of Lenin.

- In Tiraspol, a monument was erected in memory of Dyachenko Daria Grigoryevna.
- In the village of Vradievka of the Nikolaev region there is a street named after her, and a monument has been erected [1] .
- In the village of Krymka, Pervomaisky district, Mykolayiv region of Ukraine, the underground workers were erected an obelisk and a memorial museum was created [2] .
- In the city of Pustomyty, Lviv region of Ukraine, in the park near the local school, where Dasha Dyachenko studied before the war, a monument was erected [3] .
- In 1957, the movie “Partisan Spark” was released, based on the eponymous novel by Sergei Polyakov.
