History

Ancestor - a burgher from Lübeck Peter Bradke , who lived in the XVII century. His sons: Michael Bradke , served in the Swedish army, commandant of Lübeck; Heinrich-Niklas Bradke (1690-1759), a major in the Swedish service, later a lieutenant general of the Russian service, was elevated to the nobility of the Swedish Kingdom on 11/17/1718 with the name von Bradke, a diploma for the indicated virtue was issued on behalf of Queen Ulrika Eleanor 03/23/1719, introduced into the noble matrix of the Kingdom of Sweden in the number of noble families under No. 1596 in 1720

Grandchildren of Peter began military service in the Holstein forces, then transferred to the Russian army. Christian Bradke (1721-1760), Quartermaster General; Caspar Johann Bradke (? - 1761), Colonel.

His son Fedor Ivanovich (Friedrich Wilhelm) (1752-1819), military and statesman, privy councilor, senator (1816). He was married to Charlotte Christine (nee von Haack), had sons: Yegor Fedorovich (Georg Friedrich) von Bradke (1796-1862) and Michael Bradke (1797-1850).

After the October Revolution of 1917, most representatives of the Bradke clan emigrated.
