Location
38 km south-west of Yelsk , 22 km from the railway station Slovechno (on the Kalinkovichi - Ovruch line ), 215 km from Gomel .

History
According to written sources, it has been known since the 18th century as a village in the Mozyr district of Minsk province of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania . After the 2nd partition of the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth (1793) as part of the Russian Empire . The landowner Storozhinsky owned the 170th here in 1876, and the landowner Tatur owned 60 tithes of land. In 1879, it is referred to as the village of Skorodnyansky parish. According to the census of 1897, there was a bakery in the Skorodnyanskaya parish of the Mozyr district of the Minsk province . In April 1913, there was a conflict between the residents and landowners Sazanovich, who forbade the use of forest pastures.
In 1929 a collective farm was organized. During the Great Patriotic War in July 1943, the invaders burned down the village and killed 31 inhabitants. 32 inhabitants died on the fronts. In 1959, as part of the state farm "Skorodnyansky" (center - the village Skorodnoye ), located the club and library. The layout consists of 2 latitudinal streets almost parallel to each other, connected by Karotsenkai street. Built bilaterally, loosely wooden peasant houses.
