The street crosses Svobody street , from the north Vishnevaya street adjoins it, from the south - Vishnevy passage .

Previously, Tushinskaya Street was connected to Factory Street. (st. Skhodnensky dead end). On the isolated, western part of the street is the 34th industrial plant of reinforced concrete products, having the address: ul. Tushinskaya, 24. Section between the stadium IMO them. Chernysheva and train station The reinforced concrete plant branch is actually a pedestrian passage; the roadway thirty years ago was occupied and partially built up by a construction plant.

History

The street is located on the territory of the former city of Tushino, where it was called Vokzalnaya street in its location near the Tushino station of the Riga direction of the Moscow Railway . In 1960, the city of Tushino became part of Moscow (according to some reports, the street was given the name Zheleznodorozhny Tupik [1] ), and on April 11, 1964 the street received its modern name [1] [2] .

Until the mid-1950s, there was an unnamed drive from Svobody Street to the collective farm market of Tushino and the Tushinsky Mosvodokanal station. Near the junction with Freedom Street, the official passage had an intersection with the abolished railway line and, in its eastern part, passed south of the present Tushinskaya street. In the 2nd half of the 1950s, in connection with the redevelopment of the territory for the construction of residential quarters, the street was reconstructed and re-routed, which made it possible to straighten its direction. In the second half of the 1970s, after the construction of the northern exit of the Tushinskaya metro station, the section of Tushinskaya street adjacent to the metro station was turned into a pedestrian passage.
