Biography
A graduate of Moscow Power Engineering Institute ( 1980 ), he worked at Far Distance Transmission; Independently carried away by photography, a freelance correspondent for Moskovsky Komsomolets (from about 1981 , later some time in the state), worked for the newspapers Moskovskaya Pravda, Komsomolskaya Pravda, and Izvestia (1986-1988).
Member of contests and exhibitions of professional photographers. He worked in Kamchatka , in the Baltic states , in the Urals .
On May 4, 1988, A.F. Sekretaryov died from wounds received on the armor of an armored personnel carrier from a grenade explosion during shelling of a column near the Salang Pass in Afghanistan . At the same time, serious correspondent Sergei Sevruk (12.5.1954-1.9.1997) who was next to him received serious wounds. [one]
He was buried in Moscow at the Vostryakovsky cemetery. [2]

- The name of A.F. Secretarev was given to the Youth Information Center in the city of Orekhovo-Zuevo.
- In 1988, the director N. Solovyeva made a film called “Debt” about Alexander Frolovich Sekretarev. The film was shot at the studio TSSDF (RCSDF).
- The name of A.F. Sekretarev, among other names, is engraved on the memorial to fallen journalists at Newseum - the news museum in Washington DC, USA
