Sediou ( fr. Sédhiou ) is a region in the south-west of Senegal .

Geography
In the west it borders with the Ziguinchor region, in the east with the Kolda region, in the north with the Gambia , in the south with Guinea-Bissau . The region crosses the Casamance from east to west.
The Sediou region is located in the historical area of Casamance, in the southern part of Senegal. It was formed in 2008 in the western districts of the Kolda region.
