After completing a career in collaboration with a partner, she wrote 2 books “Brasseur & Eisler: To Catch a Dream” and “Brasseur & Eisler: The Professional Years”.
Together with a partner and Ann-Lou Brossault, in 1992 they organized BBE Productions Inc., which organized and held professional shows with the participation of figure skaters. The main goal of the company was to raise funds in favor of a children's charity fund.
In 1996, I. Brasseur was included in the Hall of Sports Glory of Canada, and in 2000 in the Hall of Fame of Canada's figure skating.
In 1996, the athlete married an American figure skater, Rocky Marval, on November 1, 2000, the couple had a daughter, Gabriela.
In 2009, Isabelle together with Canadian hockey player Glenn Andersen took part in the ice reality show “Battle of the Blades”.
