Satura (from lat. - “mixture, all sorts of things”) is the third studio album of the Swiss gothic metal band Lacrimosa . Music and lyrics for all songs were written by Tilo Wolff . The album was recorded at Fort Vox Tonstudio in Basel . The disc was released in 1993 on the Hall of Sermon label . In the same year in Leipzig the band started their first tour in support of their album [3] . The album was preceded by the single " Alles Lüge ".

Satura's album is generally darkwave . The first clip of the group was shot on the title track. The album cover, as for previous Lacrimosa albums, was designed by Shtelio Diamantopoulos .

Album editions
In addition to the CD, in 1993 the Hall of Sermon label released a vinyl edition of the album with a different list of tracks [4] . The Russian edition of the album and the limited Mexican edition, released in 2002 by Irond and Scarecrow labels under the license of Hall of Sermon, respectively, contain the second disc - the single " Alles Lüge " [1] [5] .

The vinyl edition of the album, released by the Hall of Sermon label, has a different tracklist: it lacks the song “Versuchung”, and the last song is “Mutatio spiritus” [4] ( lat. - “Exchange of Spirits”), also released on the single “ Stolzes ” Herz . " The Mexican edition of the album as a bonus track contains the song “Alles Lüge” (with German - “Everything is a lie”) [7] .
