Geography
It is located 30 kilometers west of the regional center of Andreapol , on the river Khotilka.
History
In 1885, the graveyard and manor of Khotilitsa belonged to the Novorozhskaya volost of the Toropetsk district of the Pskov province [2] .
In 1927, the village of Khotilitsy became the center of the Leninsky district as part of the Leningrad region , in 1928 the center of the district was transferred to the village at the station of Andreapol .
In 1929-1937, in the Western region (the center is Smolensk), Since 1935, the village was part of the Kalinin region (Leninsky district), from 1944 in the Velikolukskaya region , until it was disbanded in 1957.

- In the village, a hydraulic engineer, twice Hero of Socialist Labor Alexander Petrovich Aleksandrov was born and spent his childhood.
- Here lived and buried the Hero of the Soviet Union Alexei Mikhailovich Chupin .
