Active Worlds (AW) is a three-dimensional virtual reality . The Active Worlds client runs under the Windows operating system . Users assign themselves a unique name, register with the Active Worlds universe, and explore three-dimensional virtual worlds and the environment that other Active Worlds users have built. Users can communicate with each other or create their own building and part of the territory from the models selected in the provided for the convenience of users database of objects and textures. Active Worlds allows users to have their own worlds and universes, and develop three-dimensional content. The client has the capabilities of a web browser, voice chat and instant messaging. Active Worlds allows users to unite and explore three-dimensional virtual worlds together. Active Worlds corporate and educational clients can use interaction, communication, and media to provide a functional environment that satisfies their needs.
