Until 1972 - Conheza . Renamed after the armed conflict over Damansky Island .
The length is 24 km [2] , the basin area is 45 km².
The river originates on the southwestern slopes of the Sikhote-Alin ridge , flows south and flows into the Lazovka river near the village of Lazo .
