Geography and Hydrology
Brodnaya originates south of Lake Vyshtynetsk . The Brodnaya River is a right-bank tributary of Pissa , its mouth is located between the villages of Ilyushino and Pokryshkino [4] , 70 kilometers from the mouth of Pissa. The length of the Brodnaya River is 20 km, its catchment area is 33.6 km² [3] . A stone bridge was thrown across Brodnaya [4] .

According to the state water register of Russia, it belongs to the Baltic Basin District , the water sector of the river is Pregol , there is no sub-basin near the river. It belongs to the river basin of the Neman river and the rivers of the Baltic Sea basin (the Russian part in the Kaliningrad region) [3] .
