Founded in 1955, an urban-type village since 1968.

In the Lutuginsky district of Lugansk, the Lugansk No. 1 mine began to be built, the village was named the Lugansk No. 1 mine construction village, and the village was part of the city of Aleksandrovsk . [one]

An electrical appliance factory was previously built. [one]

The experimental bases of the research institutes “Ukrniyiugleobogashenie” and “Ukrniigidugougol” were built. [one]

The jubilee was named in honor of the 50th anniversary of the October Revolution in November 1967, the decision to form the village was made in May 1968. [one]

The decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Council of the Ukrainian SSR was adopted on May 13, 1968.

    Here is his text:

“Satisfy the application of the Lugansk Oblast Executive Committee and assign the settlement name Yubileiny to the village of the construction of the coal mine“ Lugansk No. 1 ”of the Alexander City Council of the Artyomovsky District of the city of Lugansk. Chairman of the Presidium of the Supreme Council of the Ukrainian SSR D. Korotchenko . Secretary of the Presidium A. Zlenko . ”

The executive committee of the Lugansk regional council makes a decision on May 21, 1968, on assigning the village of Yubileiny to urban-type settlements, the village belonged to the Lutuginsky district. [one]

On June 11, 1968, a meeting of deputies of the village of Yubileiny took place. The first chairman of the village council was unanimously elected Savenko Eleonora Vasilievna (born March 21, 1933) [2] . The deputies elected Afonin Sergey Ivanovich and Evdokia Filippovna Chernenko as secretary. Members of the Executive Committee were also elected Voloshin Viktor Andreevich and Beskorovayny Ivan Pavlovich. These five people became the first leaders of the village of Yubileiny. [one]

The village council was located in four rooms of the dormitory of ShSU No. 4. [1]

In the village there was a boarding school for children with scoliosis, and a comprehensive eight-year school. Several dormitory rooms were allocated for the school. It was equipped with 14 classrooms, in which 18 classes of a comprehensive school and 8 classes of an evening school were to study, there were about a thousand students. [one]

The director of the eight-year school was Odud Mikhail Minovich, an honorary citizen of the village. [one]

At the boarding school for children with scoliosis, 157 children studied, the director was Svirsky Vladimir Afanasevich. [one]

The director of the school for working youth was Fedorova Zinaida Dmitrievna, 252 people studied.

The following enterprises were located on the territory of the village: 1. Belyanskoye ShSU - head of the department Polok Eduard Viktorovich.

    2. Rodakovo-Yuryev ShSU - Bondarenko Alexander Karpovich.

    3. ShPU No. 4 - Donchenko Sergey Ivanovich.

    4. The electric plant - Klimenko Ivan Petrovich.

    [one]

In 1978, the largest enterprises of the village were an electric appliance plant and an enrichment factory [3] .

    In January 1989, the population was16 972 people [4] .

In May 1995, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine approved a decision on the privatization of a coal-processing base located in the village [5] .

    As of January 1, 2013, the population was 16,846 people [6] .

Due to hostilities in the territory of Lugansk in the summer of 2014, the only mine in the city of Luganskugol had to be closed. Government troops de-energized the village, which caused flooding of the mine.

On May 12, 2016, the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine renamed the village in Yekaterinovka as part of the de- communization campaign in Ukraine [7] , mistakenly believing that the former name of the village was being returned (in fact, it was called until 1969 and the neighboring village continues to be called that by local residents) , currently subordinate to the city council of the city of Alexandrovsk , a satellite city of Lugansk). The mistake, apparently, was caused by the fact that on the pre-revolutionary maps of the Slavyanoserbsky uyezd, about the same place where Yubileiny is now located is the village of Yekaterinovka, but the then-un-existing industrial village of the urban type Yubileiny was plotted, and on the maps of the second half of the 20th century and the beginning of the 21st century, the size of the small city of Yubileiny is applied, but the name of Ekaterinovka ceases to be marked, because although it is territorially separated from Alexandrovsk , it was officially incorporated into that city by that time kind of. Indirectly, both settlements are part of Lugansk (in Yekaterinovka there is the 32nd secondary school of Lugansk, and in the Yubileiny - the 53rd and 54th secondary schools), but previously they were part of different administrative districts (the Yubileiny arose and was formed as part of Lutuginsky , - and earlier Uspensky - district of Lugansk region). The renaming decision was not recognized by the authorities of the unrecognized "LPR " [8] .

    General information

In Yubileinoye there is one of the Lugansk trolleybus depots (the village is connected to the central part of the city by trolleybus No. 57), now it does not work.

Most of the inhabitants of the village worked at the Lugansk mine . Now the mine is closed.
