Her husband soon died and, after distributing all her property, the Countess went as a simple poor pilgrim to Jerusalem . Here she led a righteous life and passed away on November 11, 1029. According to legend, many miracles took place on her grave. Upon learning of the death of her sister, her older brother Ulrich also began to gather in Jerusalem, but he was advised not to go in old age on such a long and insecure path.
