Hidimba

Khidimba ( Skt. हिडिम्‍बा ) - Rakshasa , the hero of the ancient Indian epic Mahabharata , Khidimbi’s brother and uncle of her son Ghatotkachi . Tempted by the view of the Pandavas and Kunti passing through the forest, the cannibals-cannibals Khidimba and Khidimbi wanted to eat them. Khidimba instructed his sister to kill the five brothers and their mother, but she fell in love with Bhima at first sight and was unable to fulfill the mission entrusted to her. Wanting to seduce Bhima, she turned into an unusually beautiful woman. An enraged Khidimba himself fought with Bhima, but was defeated and died at the hands of a mighty knight.
