History
The first mention of the village is found in the letter of King Ferdinand I from 1548, which refers to the hereditary affairs of the Drugs. The Antalovians belonged to the estates of the Nevitsky pane of Drugets. In written sources, the village is known as "Antolocz". It is believed that the village was founded at the end of the 15th century by the name of Sholtheis Antal. In 1631, there were 7 serf households and the Sholteis economy in Antalovtsy. In 1715 in the village 13 peasant and 2 gellar farms were counted. In the XVII century, in connection with logging, several Slovak families moved to the village.
In the XVIII century in the village there already existed a Greek Catholic church belonging to the Ruthenian population.
The village has a tourist complex "Bogolvar".
