Stroynoye ( Ukrainian: Stroyne , Hungarian. Malmos ) is a village in the Svalyavsky district of Transcarpathian region of Ukraine . It is located at a distance of 4 km to the district center . The population is 2726 people.

History
The village was founded in 1430 by the settler Stroyan.
In the second half of the 19th century, the peasants of Stroyny burned coal , lime , and prepared timber for Svalyava enterprises.
In 1910, 1,205 people lived in the village: 12 Hungarians , 95 Germans , 1,098 Rusyns and 93 Jews . By religion, there were 12 Catholics and 1100 Greek Catholics .
In March 1919, Soviet power was established in orderly.
During the anti-war demonstration in 1924, the head of the village D. Meshko was killed by a gendarme bullet.
October 24, 1944 during the Second World War, the village was occupied by the forces of the Red Army . During the war, 37 villagers volunteered for the Red Army, 15 people fought in the ranks of the Czechoslovak Corps of General Ludwik Svoboda .
In Stroyny was placed a collective farm team to them. Shevchenko, on which 20 hectares of land was secured. The farm grew potatoes , oats , corn , and cattle .
