Born in Yaroslavl in 1802. The serf man Naryshkina , he, together with his fellow countrymen, masons , usually went to work in St. Petersburg and there had a chance to study building art in practice. The first building, for the decoration of which he received a silver medal, was the house church of the Imperial Academy of Arts . Then, as a Moscow merchant of the 3rd guild, he was for his excellent practical knowledge in building art, proved to him during his stay in 1837 under the architect K.A. Tone at huge structures in Moscow, such as the Cathedral of Christ the Savior , the Grand Kremlin Palace , and so on, and who put him on the degree of the first stone craftsman in Russia, he was awarded the title of Free Artist by the Academy of Arts in 1857. He died on March 29, 1874 in Moscow. [one]
