History

The first mention of the name of the river Meseli is in the archive of the city of Ufa, case number 339 of June 9, 1729. Record of the Bashkirs of the Nogai Road of the Mirketa parish of the Bashkirs Yukat Bekulov and a relative Alay Ablaev. [2]

The village was founded by immigrants from the Kazan and Simbirsk provinces in 1740, according to other sources in 1760. In 1780, the inhabitants converted to Orthodoxy. [one]

Villages called Messeli were in two places. One was called the “Lower Messeli”, which was located along the lower course of the river near the village of Podlesnoye, and the “Upper Messel” was located where the village is at this time. Meseli

The Central State Institution of the Republic of Bashkortostan keeps a report of the Ufa province Popov about the examination of public schools, where the single-class non-urban rural Christian Meselin Chuvash school is numbered 8, opened on February 20, 1884. In 1910 a fire broke out in the village, as a result of which 85 houses burned down along with the temple and school. After the fire, a church was built in honor of St. Nicholas the Wonderworker. At the beginning there was only a temple, then they made an extension which the landowner Kartashov built. In 1930-31, the church was closed.

In 1932 a school building of 5 rooms was assembled from kulak houses. Subsequently, the church premises were also adapted for school.

Establishment of other villages

From the village of Nizhnye Meseli, 50 people left in dd. Karmaskaly Ufa County.

In the early 90s. XVIII century. come from dd. Karamaly and (Verkhnye Meseli) was founded by the village of Asavbashevo .

Unbaptized Chuvash in the amount of 24 people from the village of Begenyashevo formed their village Uslybash (Usălă). This happened in 1793. Then over the next year, immigrants from the village of Verkhnye Meseli arrived.

Chuvash from the village of Ishkeevo, Kozmodemyansky district, Kazan province in 1794 founded the village of Taneevka . V audit showed 120 people in it. There was another village called Nizhnyaya Taneevka, also with the Chuvash population. The Chuvashians, newly baptized, arrived here from the village of Meleuz and Nizhnye Meseli.

Mrakovo is a settlement of the Bashkir patrimony of the Karmyshevaya tube of the Yurmaty volost. Since the end of the XVIII century. it is known as an ethnically mixed locality. In 1929–1930, the settlements of Zhuravlevka , Vyazovka , Sosnovka , Dadanovka and Kamenka were founded by immigrants from Meselya.

Population

In 1795 there were 190 in the Upper Messel, in the Lower Messel - 508 people.

In 1895 - male - 495 souls, female - 506 souls.

In 1902 there were 209 households with a population of 1,342 people.

In 1906, in with. Messeli had a number of yards 245; 632 male residents and 659 women.
