Biography

In 1968, Vladimir Larin graduated from the Leningrad Rimsky-Korsakov School of Music in the class of Semyon Ilyasov. Then he continued his studies at the Leningrad Conservatory and graduated in 1976 under the guidance of Alexander Parshin.

From 1973 to 1983, Larin was the soloist of the V.V. Andreev Russian Folk Instruments Orchestra . In 1986, he became a soloist in the Kirov Opera and Ballet Theater Orchestra . In 1989, Larin was awarded the title Honored Artist of the RSFSR . He taught at the Pushkin College of Music.
