The flag was approved on July 19, 2010 and entered into the State Heraldic Register of the Russian Federation with the assignment of registration number 6325.
The flag is the official symbol of the city of Lakinsk and reflects historical, cultural, socio-economic, national and other local traditions.
Description
“A rectangular panel with a width-to-length ratio of 2: 3, consisting of two flat vertical stripes: blue and green; over the dividing line of a figure from the city's coat of arms: a red shuttle decorated with a yellow shuttle, interlaced with a white lily on a stem and a yellow hop branch. ”
Symbolization Justification
The flag was developed on the basis of the coat of arms of the city of Lakinsk.
The history of Lakinsk is inextricably linked with the ancient village of Undol, which entered the city limits, where the Kazan Church, built in the 17th century and still being the spiritual symbol of the city, reflected in the flag with a white lily, still stands.
The shuttle shows a spinning-weaving factory founded in 1889, around which the city was established and developed in the 20th century.
A branch of hop speaks of the Lakinsky beer, famous in the whole district.
Blue color - a symbol of impeccability, sublime aspirations, virtues, the color of a clear sky.
Green color is a symbol of spring, joy, life, nature, health.
Yellow ( gold ) is a symbol of strength, wealth, grandeur, intelligence and insight.
White color ( silver ) is a symbol of purity, wisdom, generosity, perfection, peace.
Red color reflects the name of the city named after M. I. Lakin , who died during the revolutionary speeches of 1905 . Red color is a symbol of endurance, strength and beauty.
The continuity of the spiritual principle, nature and various activities of citizens allegorically symbolizes the intertwined composition of the flag.
