Mindanao Island Location on the Map of the Philippine Archipelago
Tagakaolo is a people living in the Philippines , more specifically on the coast of Davao Bay in the southeast of the island of Mindanao . The population is about 55 thousand people (according to 2010 data).

Language
Mostly they speak the language of Tagakaolo of the West Astronesian group of the Austronesian family. Maranao is also widely spoken. [1] . [2]
Religion
Mostly tagakaolo adheres to traditional beliefs, some of which are Christians and Sunni Muslims .
Activities
The main occupations - farming, fishing, gathering, breed bulls. Crafts are developed: weaving, fabric dyeing technique, wood processing. The traditional settlement is a small village. The small monogamous family predominates. Marriage is bilocal or neolocal (Peoples of Southeast Asia, 1999)
