Food for thought is a tribute album to Iron Maiden , which presents a slightly different view of the band's music. The tribute came out in July 2005 ^[1] after the Swedes Henrik Johansson and Matthias Reinholdsson worked on it for about two years. For this album, most of the material was written by Johansson and Reinholdsson, making versions of Iron Maiden songs in other genres with the participation of familiar musicians ^[2] . The purpose of this tribute was to create such a sound as if several groups of various directions made covers for Iron Maiden songs.

Numbers from the Beast is a tribute album to the band Iron Maiden , released in 2005 in honor of the 25th anniversary of the release of the debut album Iron Maiden . The songs are performed by fairly well-known heavy metal musicians. The cover was created by Derek Riggs , creator of the Eddie band mascot. The third track was performed by former singer of Iron Maiden Paul Di'Anno , who sang the original version of this song. The stellar line-up was used here after the release of the Roadrunner United disc with a similar line-up by Roadrunner Records .

Maiden Heaven is a tribute album to British heavy metal band Iron Maiden , released July 16, 2008 ^[3] as a gift for the 1219 release of Kerrang! . on the magazine’s website itself, the disc is described as “our tribute to Iron Maiden, which contains exclusive covers from Metallica , Avenged Sevenfold , Coheed & Cambria , Trivium , Machine Head and Dream Theater ' ^[4] .

From May 14 to May 26, Kerrang! held a contest for the best cover for his tribute ^[5] . Contestants had to describe the concept in any way and using any tool. Winner receives an annual Kerrang subscription ! and his work will be used as the cover of a tribute.
