Description of the swamp

Lowland swamp in the catchment of the Berezina River. The area of ​​7.4 thousand hectares. The average depth of peat is 1.8 m, the degree of decomposition is 29–36%, and the ash content is 9–10.9%. Partially drained, used for haying. The swamp is included in the Berezinsky reserve and its conservation zone.

Vegetation

Natural vegetation is characterized by birch, black alder, sedge-sphagnum and sedge associations; spruce forest grows in some places.
