Description of the swamp
Lowland swamp in the catchment of the Berezina River. The area of 7.4 thousand hectares. The average depth of peat is 1.8 m, the degree of decomposition is 29–36%, and the ash content is 9–10.9%. Partially drained, used for haying. The swamp is included in the Berezinsky reserve and its conservation zone.
Vegetation
Natural vegetation is characterized by birch, black alder, sedge-sphagnum and sedge associations; spruce forest grows in some places.
