Biography
Prewar Biography
Nikolai Prokopyevich Glebov was born on December 3, 1918 into a peasant family in the village of Verkhnyaya Alabuga, Plotnikovskaya volost, Kurgan district, Tobolsk province . The territory was controlled by the White Guard troops of the Russian state . Now a village in the Kruglyansky village council of the Zverinogolovsky district of the Kurgan region .
He graduated from the seven-year school in the village of Zverinogolovskaya . As an excellent student to continue his studies, he was sent to the Kurtamysh Agricultural College .
After graduating from a technical school in 1939, he was sent to work in the Dubrovinsky MTS of the Ust-Uysky District , where he was appointed chief agronomist in view of the special education received.
Participation in the war
In 1940, he was drafted into the ranks of the Workers 'and Peasants' Red Army and served in the Far East . There he graduated from the school of junior commanders, after which he served as the squad leader and assistant platoon commander. After graduating from courses of reserve officers in the spring of 1941 , Nikolai Glebov was preparing for demobilization. During the Great Patriotic War, he served in the Far East as the squad leader and assistant platoon commander of the 107th fortified area.

Postwar Biography
After demobilization in 1947, by the decision of the party organization, he was sent as the head of the agricultural department of the Ust-Uy district executive committee. In this position, he restored farming. In 1952 he was elected second secretary of the party district committee.
In 1961, he replaced Ivan Leontievich Drachev as the first secretary of the Ust-Uy district committee of the CPSU of the Kurgan region . By decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Council of the RSFSR of February 1, 1963, instead of the existing Ust-Uysky district, the Tselinny rural district of the Kurgan region was formed. By decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Council of the RSFSR of January 12, 1965, the Tselinny rural district of the Kurgan region was transformed into the Tselinny district of the Kurgan region.
On February 22, 1972, a resolution of the Central Committee of the CPSU “On the preparations for the 50th anniversary of the founding of the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics” was published. It caused a new surge of labor activity throughout the country, including in the Southern Trans-Urals. In 1972, 19 centners of bread were collected from each hectare of grain.
By decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR of December 13, 1972, for the great successes achieved in increasing the production and sale of grain and other agricultural products to the state, and for the manifested labor prowess during the harvest, Nikolai Prokopyevich Glebov was awarded the title Hero of Socialist Labor with the award of the Order of Lenin and the medal " Sickle and Hammer . "
Under his leadership, Tselinny district became a major supplier of agricultural products to the state: in 1978, gross grain production reached 210 thousand tons, and the annual sale of bread to the state from 25 thousand tons in 1953 grew to 130 thousand tons. The sale of milk increased 5.5 times, and meat - six times, they began to produce meat in a month and a half as much as in the whole of 1953 .
During his work as the first secretary of the district committee, villages and villages were settled in the region, highway and paved roads, power lines were built, and regular bus service was established with all villages and villages.

After retiring in 1977, he moved to Kurgan , where he worked as executive secretary of the Kurgan Regional Peace Committee and the Regional Assistance Commission for the Soviet Peace Fund .
He died on August 27, 1987 , was buried in Kurgan , on the central avenue of the Ryabkovo cemetery.
