Biography
S. D. Romodanov was born on July 31 ( August 12 ), 1899 in the city of Livny (now Oryol Oblast ) into a family of provincial actors. In 1912 he entered the Livensky real school. Three years later, the family moved to Grozny , and the future artist completed his education at the Grozny real school in 1919 . In 1920, he entered the art workshop of the director Arzamasov in Baku . In 1921-1923, he served in the PUR Drama Theater in Khiva ; in 1925-1926 - artist of the Khiva city theater; in 1926-1927 - director of the theater-club of railway workers at the station of the Ursatyev Tashkent region ; in 1936-1937 - artist and director of the city theater of Blagoveshchensk ; in 1937-1938 - artist of the State Theater of Russian Drama in Izhevsk . Since 1938 - actor of the Yagatd Theater named after F. G. Volkov . Member of the CPSU (b) since 1943 .
S. D. Romodanov died on September 23, 1975 . He was buried in the Western (Churilkovsky) cemetery of Yaroslavl.
